Loved everything about our stay here, it was pure perfection. If it’s available, do not pass up the opportunity to experience it. The lodge is beautiful and so well designed and presented, with lovely homely touches, clean spacious shower room, comfortable bed and bedroom with cracking aircon, great outdoor seating area, in all just cannot fault it. Communication with Hadas/Dusty was spot on, Hadas also arranged for us to do bird watching and cooking onsite with Flora, both of which were great experiences. On arrival we were met by Willy and Stinky who are both adorable and so friendly, they spent a lot of time with us when we were there! Willy was also a great swimming buddy in the river. Facilities in the lodge were second to none and also catered for our unstated needs! Fully stocked kitchen and a bonus of running bottled water. Having the river there to both cool down in and sunbathe by was a bonus and well used with the humidity at the time we stayed. The location was perfect for us, far enough from town to be remote and only a few mins drive into civilisation. Albert, the main man on site in the day, was lovely and friendly and we had some good conversation with him. The security here is also good, with an electric entrance gate and non intrusive cameras, but Willy and Stinky were the best security, making sure you knew about any movement even remotely near the property! They also slept outside our room on a night, ready and waiting for a breakfast treat in the morning! So cute. If you’re not a dog lover though, they won’t bother you, so please don’t be put off by them being there.

Alma Del Rio Eco-Comfort on the water está en San Ignacio, en la región de Cayo, y ofrece alojamiento con parking privado gratis. Everything was beautiful! We especially loved the living room area with the view on the tropical garden, great spot for bird watching. Hadas was lovely and helped us have an amazing stay, with great day trips and excursions. We loved the Tikal day trip as well as our bird watching experiences with Andy, great guide that we recommend. Thank you for making our stay unforgettable 😊

Villa Massis Luxury Villas tiene vistas a la montaña y se encuentra en San Ignacio. Cuenta con restaurante, servicio de habitaciones, bar, jardín, piscina al aire libre abierta todo el año y terraza. Everything. Melanie, Larry and the team treated us more like family than guests. They organised all our trips and activities, at no extra cost, even after we changed our plans. The location was perfect, like an oasis in the jungle, the pool was fantastic and the room was very tastefully decorated with everything we could need.

The owners are awesome & helpful with great recommendations. Perfect location for tours of the ruins and caves. The property was beautiful

Hummingbird Rest a fully equipped cabana in subtropic garden está en San Ignacio y ofrece alojamiento con wifi gratis a 15 km de El Pilar, a 26 km de Barton Creek Cave y a 28 km de Actun Tunichil... Hummingbirds on your patio are a great way to wake up and go to sleep. The locations close to town but not too close. We had a rental car and felt the vehicle was safe from both other traffic and people. There are multiple places for food or if you want to cook the cabins have a full cooking setup. Excellent! Also check out the grounds and admire all the hard work put into creating this hummingbird haven.

Kane Villas - Mountain Pine Ridge está en San Ignacio, en la región de Cayo, a 20 km de Barton Creek Cave. It was extremely clean! I ve never seen such clean airbnb. The area is very pretty and hosts were waiting for me till late evening (we were late due to tough road - be preapred) . Barbeque devices available near the swimming pool.

The food was delicious and the staff was very attentive. The family suite was MORE than we needed for our family of 6. It was fabulous to have so much room to relax and spread out

La Rana se encuentra en San Ignacio, a 17 min a pie de Cahal Pech y a 17 km de El Pilar, y ofrece alojamiento con wifi gratis, aire acondicionado y jardín. The pool was such a treat. Everyday after exploring it was to come back and take a dip. Quiet neighborhood, close to lots of great things. Definitely recommend having a car rental. It is walking distance to town but it’s on a hill.
