Outdoor seating is also available at the holiday home. The cottage felt like home away from home. Everything was well planned, and no details were spared. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was well equipped. The place is very private, no one to disturb the quiet. For dog owners, it might be good to know that the garden is not fenced in, but it was not a problem for us as we do not let our dog unattended. We found the restaurants, shops, cable car and bus stations at a convenient walking distance. The local transport is also good so it is worth leaving the car at the property and taking local transport to visit all the lakes and other cities around.

For added privacy, the accommodation features a private entrance. The view from Feldhasen was breathtaking. The house is quite new and everything is well-built and nicely decorated. We greatly enjoyed the outside table to watch sunsets and the horses that graze next door. The sauna was a treat and the beds were comfortable with great fluffy pillows. The location was quite central for reaching places in Salzkammergut and Gertrude showed us a wonderful hike right from the house up a mountain. She was very helpful and gave other good suggestions for things to do. It is a bit challenging to get to the house since Google maps tells you to take roads meant for small 4x4s and even the main road is single lane only, but we quickly got used to it. A very memorable and wonderful stay!
