Lucy is such a friendly host and very generous! When we got to Lucy's Rosegarden at 11:30 PM she was waiting for us with lots of goodies and as if that wasn't enough she went to a bakery near by at the time of the night and got us fresh bread. Beautifully renovated apartment right downtown and one street away from the sea. The main bedroom has a small balcony and great views, and has air conditioning.

Great for families or large parties, holiday homes are privately owned accommodation, available for long or short-term rental. These homes are furnished and equipped with kitchen facilities for self-catering, although breakfast may be offered as an add-on. These properties have their own independent front door, which makes them different to apartments.
The room and shared bathrooms are very clean. The dorm room I was staying in came with a patio as well, which is nice to chill after a long day of hike. I appreciate that the kitchen is very well equipped and there were 2 sets of stoves and also some kitchen equipment, so more than 1 pax can prepare food at the same time. It’s very well considered and thoughtful. Tania is a super a lovely host at the hostel, she gave a thorough orientation of the place and keeps the place in tip top condition.

The balcony, kitchen and showers are nice, very clean and well equiped. I was alone in the shared room, like that it was ok, but guess with 4 there is not much space.
Tânia is a friendly host and happy to have a chat! Everything was very clean and comfortable. There's a big, well stocked kitchen area with two stoves. Each room had a balcony with chairs and a table that's great to watch the sunset from, and a great view of Pico too! The bathrooms are have lots of space. Dorm beds were comfy and rooms had direct access to the carpark. When I stayed there weren't many other travellers (because of shoulder season) so it was quiet, but did make a very relaxed experience.
