From arrival to departure, our stay at Fragas do Lobo was beyond expectations. The property was easy to find and our wonderful hosts, Ines & Hugo, were waiting to greet, orientate and get us settled.
The actual property is beyond the photographs and has been extremely well appointed and laid out. There is so much space and privacy, where you can choose from many perfect spaces inside and out to relax, eat, enjoy. The interior of the property is so comfortable and beautiful, extremely clean and with every detail attended to. The bathroom, bedroom and kitchen have excellent facilities.
The breakfast is prepared to your tastes and delivered at the time you choose; each day different and everything fresh, home baked or cooked and with a brilliant variety - we rescheduled our day so we could really appreciate the breakfast and high quality of Ines culinary talents.
The gardens are stunning and have been well thought out to encourage you to have spaces to relax and enjoy this special part of the country; you can literally start your hike at the entrance to the property and reach into some stunning countryside and mountains or simply explore the exquisite village of Castelo Novo and the surrounding area.
Beyond the actual property we could not have been more welcomed and taken care of, the hosts were so kind and generous and really wanted us to feel like our time spent there felt as if it was in our own home. We will return!

The property is amazing, The Host was very welcoming. Although the location is not that great, a bit far from the city and I did not find out any nearby shops. For nature loving people, it was an amazing place.
We enjoyed our stay. the rooms was very comfortable.

Nice friendly host. The location is good and the house has all you need to spend some time exploring nearby. We even had the fireplace running when we got in. It felt really cosy.
