Great for families or large parties, holiday homes are privately owned accommodation, available for long or short-term rental. These homes are furnished and equipped with kitchen facilities for self-catering, although breakfast may be offered as an add-on. These properties have their own independent front door, which makes them different to apartments.
The view from the terrace is breathtaking, the room and the shared bathroom was very clean and all you need on a tropical holiday. The host Darcy was very welcoming and made me feel at home from day one. There is also a possibilty to rent an canoe to go to the island just across the property.
Really enjoyed our stay, the owners were really helpful with recommendations and helping us book onward travel and any info about the area/things to do. The hostel facilities were very clean and had everything you need for a comfortable stay. We also booked a day trip/snorkeling trip with the hostel which was amazing,would recommend, thanks Amir!
We had a double room without bathroom which was very clean and quiet. Even though there were only two showers in total, you didn't have to wait. The staff were really cool and recommended the best snorkeling tour ever. If we had had more time, we would have done it a second time.
After being out and about all day, the pool and the small bar in the backyard were perfect to round off the day.
Excellent Check-in and excellent communication with Paola via WhatsApp . Paola comes every afternoon (16h- 19h), very friendly.
We got the keys from the house keeper, or they would be on our door with our name.

Inside : A sofa, a small kitchen, a rather large bedroom, and a tiny bathroom. Lots of towels. Good lights, AC.
An excellent pizzeria and a gelateria quite close (100m).
A very beautiful hostel with a very nice vibe, owned by a local surf family . It was always very clean. The rooms were simple , but you don’t have to spend time in there because you have plenty of options to hang out in the common areas . We liked it so much, there that we extended our stay . And if anything ever brings us back to Santa Catalina , we will definitely stay here again
Incredible location, we loved sitting in the hammocks and watching the sunset. No better view in Santa Catalina. Great aircon in the rooms and very clean with towels provided. Great access to town and the beach. Kitchen was basic but functional and worked well. The host was so helpful and friendly, we loved meeting the pets and we used the laundry service which was speedy.
Chris and Juan are really helpful and nice hosts.The rooms are very clean and the terrace is perfect to relax. The food and cocktails in their restaurant are delicious. The breakfast is great (especially the banana pancakes)
The rooms are very clean and neatly decorated. Clean and spacious communal kitchen as well. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is great, some cute cafés and restaurants nearby, plus Santa Catalina beach where coiba expeditions start. Estero beach is a 20 minute walking distance
