First, our host was very informative and explained the history of the house. The beautiful ikebana, candy and sweets were a special treat! It was raining, and Hitty our host took us to a recommended “princess” house before entering Kenrokuen Garden. The special gifts given were thoughtful! Loved the Japanese home experience.

We really enjoyed the beautiful home and garden! It had a wonderful view of the garden as the focal point of the main living area. Every part of the home was modernized, yet it had a quaint ryokan feel with a lovely hot tub. It was really spacious, especially the two bedrooms and easily the nicest of six lodgings we stayed at while in Japan.

the house was very relaxing unlike big hotels. it’s very family friendly and cozy. there’s a nice rooftop. very close to the kanazawa castle and gardens (about a 3 min walked). huge bathroom- spa like with all the amenities you need. nice living room and small kitchen.

The use of a digital lock wasa bit fiddly but gave so much privacy. You could leave by just closing the door without having to check out!
the house was generously spacious with a dining area and hall where the family could gather and that was great.
The townhouse was comfortable though a little cold but it had great airconditioning in the rooms. the kitchen was well equipped including a steam oven. After getting the hang of it, found it better than microwave!

They have many bathrooms, a lounge room and a small kitchen. I was staying alone that night so they upgraded me to a private room for no cost. They also offered to drive me to the bus stop, I found it very kind and thoughtful. The family is very kind, the place is very clean and the environment is very cozy, I am very glad I visited them.
I love this secluded hotel in the mountains! The hotel has a retro style but is very clean. The meals are included and are excellent. During my stay, I had the onsen practically all to myself and I enjoy the outdoor onsen looking out into the forest the most!
Everything was clean and nicely put together! The owner is very very kind and shared some nearby restaurants and way to Ainokura. The hostel is located very near to the bus station. The toilet and shower room were very clean and the room was spacious! The owner also had a heater in the shower room, which I thought was so thoughtful. Would definitely stay here again if I’m visiting!
Room has all you need, full bathroom, ammenities, air conditioning, it's very clean, and all the staff is always nice and friendly. The hotel is next to a shopping mall and another shops and restaurants. A very convenient place to stay at Fukuno.
