We loved our stay at the Machiya. Our host Hitty gave us the best welcome. The facilities are very good and it is amazing to have a house to yourself. We loved the closeness to the station and the city is a 15 min walk away. It was very clean and well provided. We would recommend this to everyone.

Stunning house, great location about 10 minutes walk from Kanawa JR station. The house itself was spectacular. I do wish we had booked to stay longer. Immaculately clean and very well equipped. I absolutely loved the bedroom. The futons are surprisingly comfy and we slept very well. The host was very helpful and even collected us form the train station when we arrived. thank you for a very pleasant experience.

Everything about this stay was simply amazing. Michio picked us up directly from the station and took us to the house. The house itself was truly beautiful, our best stay in Japan.

Excellent location and very spacious house for our family. The facilities were very clean and comfortable. Check in was simple steps and easy. We particularly liked the washing machine - which surprised us as it was a washer & dryer and made it super easy for us to clean and dry our clothes in the very hot summer days! We liked the situation and the design. The small garden was really nice to have. There is a great restaurant next door at the end of the street!
Amenities are provided however it would be great to have a set of kitchen things ( salt/pepper/oil) at least to start.
Great for families or large parties, holiday homes are privately owned accommodation, available for long or short-term rental. These homes are furnished and equipped with kitchen facilities for self-catering, although breakfast may be offered as an add-on. These properties have their own independent front door, which makes them different to apartments.
Fantastic hosts, very welcoming and an amazing place to stay. Very clean and tidy. The traditional Japanese breakfast was delicious. Would highly recommend staying here.
They have many bathrooms, a lounge room and a small kitchen. I was staying alone that night so they upgraded me to a private room for no cost. They also offered to drive me to the bus stop, I found it very kind and thoughtful. The family is very kind, the place is very clean and the environment is very cozy, I am very glad I visited them.
I love this secluded hotel in the mountains! The hotel has a retro style but is very clean. The meals are included and are excellent. During my stay, I had the onsen practically all to myself and I enjoy the outdoor onsen looking out into the forest the most!
Everything was clean and nicely put together! The owner is very very kind and shared some nearby restaurants and way to Ainokura. The hostel is located very near to the bus station. The toilet and shower room were very clean and the room was spacious! The owner also had a heater in the shower room, which I thought was so thoughtful. Would definitely stay here again if I’m visiting!
Room has all you need, full bathroom, ammenities, air conditioning, it's very clean, and all the staff is always nice and friendly. The hotel is next to a shopping mall and another shops and restaurants. A very convenient place to stay at Fukuno.
