The host was wonderful to us and the location was perfect for a family of 7 - in the middle of nature, with a small stream running behind the house, a spacious sitting/bbq area outside, and all the necessary facilities. The kids, who had never been to Japan, are really excited to visit again someday soon! Thank you so much for being so accommodating!
Great for families or large parties, vacation homes are privately owned accommodations, available for long or short-term rental. These homes are furnished and equipped with kitchen facilities, though breakfast might be offered as an add-on. These properties have their own independent front door, which makes them different than apartments.
Delightful, homey, comfortable guesthouse with comfy futon (laid on mattresses for extra comfort) and very clean shared bathroom. The dinner was incredible, we all loved every bite!
The owner asked what time our bus arrived, but didn't explain that she would collect us from the bus, which wasn't a problem, we just didn't know she was driving around looking for us so kindly.
The guesthouse is run by two very friendly people, there is a good atmosphere, the space is gigantic, quality and very clean! This was conducive to great encounters and good times of sharing (takoyaki evening).
Thank you again for this wonderful stay!

Magome Chaya is very well located along the Nagasendo trail in Magome. Magome is generally a very cute little town. The food was amazing, the satff super friendly, and facilities very clean. 10/10.
We slept in the dormitory and we found it very clean and cozy! Being a couple we got a whole bunk bed for ourselves and we actually appreciated very much the fact that there were curtains we could close to delimitate our “area”. So even if it was a shared dormitory, we still got our privacy. They also provided a yukata which we appreciated very much. Then the best part was definitely the dinner and the breakfast we booked with them. Absolutely delicious! The whole experience felt very authentic.
