It's a literally palace in quiet neighborhood. 10 min to downtown. Excellent choice for group of 4-6 people. Next time I will stay there for a week at least.

The location is perfect, very close to downtown and to attractions. We went for a nice walk around the lake near the president's home. We also walked downtown to visit the church, have a coffee at Reykjavik Roasters, and grab groceries.

Absolutely beautiful, small studio apartment within the Villa. Beautifully designed, clean, comfortable, ideal location in downtown Reykjavík close to all the fun spots. Lots of extra touches, including a converter for my plug, which I was desperate for and had not been able to find it any of the local stores.

We LOVED the house! Margret is a great host, she takes care of every single little thing… the place is a hidden gem in the city. I can’t recommend it enough… if you are visiting Reykjavik this is the place to stay.
Great for families or large parties, vacation homes are privately owned accommodations, available for long or short-term rental. These homes are furnished and equipped with kitchen facilities, though breakfast might be offered as an add-on. These properties have their own independent front door, which makes them different than apartments.
Excellent breakfast and very clean rooms with all necessary facilities.Although it is a self checkin hotel staff are very efficient to sort out any issues.Will recommend for any travellers.
The guesthouse is very strategically close both to the city centre and the bus terminal (from which the buses to the airport depart directly, with no need to book for the drop off/ pick up service), but at the same is in a quiet and very green residential area. The room is small (but it was clear from the pictures posted, so no surprises there) but very clean and comfortable. Thorey was a great host and ready to help when I called her before arriving, and left very specific instructions for us regarding our stay. Lovely dog too!

The house was very clean, with all the amenities I needed while still being spacious enough so that i didn’t feel cramped. The location on the town area was fantastic and made it easy to enjoy the area’s scenery and explore what Iceland has to offer. Overall, I had a great experience and are already talking about our next visit.
