Great for families or large parties, vacation homes are privately owned accommodations, available for long or short-term rental. These homes are furnished and equipped with kitchen facilities, though breakfast might be offered as an add-on. These properties have their own independent front door, which makes them different than apartments.
We were a group of 8 and was welcomed by the lovely dog. Met the owner who lived upstairs, was very easy going. The place was very clean and everything was provided for.
Everything was very clean. The rooms were not very big and it was difficult to manage bg luggages. The landlord was super niceand he had a lovely dog. Proces aare not cheap though.
Very clean, big kitchen and very clean. We were lucky and met some great people which made the stay even more pleasant. The ratio of rooms to shared bathrooms is 4:3 so everything was kept very clean.
The host was very nice, the house was very clean, the kitchen had everything you need to cook something there. The view was amazing. Totally recommend it!

We were warmly welcomed by the host. As we were the only guests that night we were given an option to select a room which was very nice. All the rooms were very clean, the kitchen is equipped with everything one can think of. We spent very comfortable evening relaxing on the sofas. When back in Iceland, this is definitely a place to return to.
