Friendliness of the host Fred, he was the best! Quiet and remote with nearby pub, restaurant, and store. The view outback was awesome! The bartender Garry was great next door! Fred made sure that we came back to Stoneyford, and our fireplace was lit, and our accommodations were warm and cozy.
There were a few minor issues that were IMMEDIATELY rectified by the host Fred. We really were very happy with how he handled those.

It's in a quiet country setting. The backyard is essentially rolling fields of cows and sheep. The place is lovely and clean with nice interior. Hosts are responsive and polite. They include everything one needs to cook and even include milk, cookies, butter, and jam. A cobweb could not be found!

Great for families or large parties, vacation homes are privately owned accommodations, available for long or short-term rental. These homes are furnished and equipped with kitchen facilities, though breakfast might be offered as an add-on. These properties have their own independent front door, which makes them different than apartments.
The room was not large but it was adequate. All facilities were supplied and the room was very clean and ready when we arrived. The house was located in the middle of the town and close to shops. The breakfast was excellent and well beyond what was expected. The man who ran the the B & B was very friendly and accommodating.
Perfect place to stay. Very clean, comfortable and great facilities. Very well stocked kitchen all you need to prepare a meal, excellent shower and spacious bathroom with lots and lots of hot water. Also a good range of TV stations and a great music system and last but not least a most comfortable bed. Michael and Sheila were both very welcoming and provided plenty of information on what to do in the area. I would highly recommend this property
Our stay at The Rose Cottage was very pleasant. The cottage is in a beautiful quiet area with beautiful grounds. The cottage is well decorated and very clean. The owner had thought of everything we could need. It is only a short drive to kilkenny city from the cottage so it's a great location
Xlll century tower. The breakfast was small but very tasty. Some options for vegetarians. I loved the table set up in the small dining room. Very sublime tableware. Lovely design of the main room. Very clean room and bedroom. Nice towels.
Rooms cosy, warm and very clean, , lovely and quiet, host s are very welcoming. Excellent breakfast, blueberry pancakes were home made and delicious.. location perfect for us.

Room was well finished, very clean, heated floor in bathroom, comfortable bed, great coffee/water station and quiet. Food in The Hound was excellent; my wife rated her meal as one of the best she ever had; I emnjoyed mine too. Not cheap, but great quality food and waiting staff were very good.
The hosts went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and straightforward. The apartment was beautiful, tasteful, and very clean. Everything you needed for your stay was there. Nothing was too much trouble for Michael and Sheila. Beautiful quiet location. It's very handy for the railway station. Would not hesitate to book again in the future.
