A beautiful guesthouse in a stunning location. Everything was very clean and comfortable. The staff were all so friendly and welcoming. We felt right at home. Thank you Lilly and Ishako for having us and your jungle guides Dion and Alec were amazing we had the best experience ever!
The rooms were very clean and big enough. The host was very friendly and arranged perfectly for our pick-up and jungle trekking. The view from the balcony was very nice.
Everything. Tia is an exceptional host and great chef. All ingredients for every meal were fresh and delicious. Nothing was too much. Tia organised a superb jungle trek through the reputable government group and our guide Eddie was brilliant. It was amazing to see orangutans completely in the wild.
The location is simply perfect, being the last place on this side of the river. The views are wonderful.

The trip they organized was amazing, with Armin and Rio were just incredible, they went out of their way to make sure we had a wonderful experience through the jungle. We saw a lot of Orang-Utans and had a lot of fun as a group!
The hotel was also very clean, the room beautiful, the staff was super nice and the location great!
The owner is very lovely. He took time to explain all the possibilities and the hikes. We booked the two day trekking and our guide was amazing, all of us were super happy. The rooms are simply established but very clean. The location is good, there is a small garden as well. All in all very satisfying.
Great homestay in Bukit Lawang, very clean, very cosy huge bed and AC! The owner arranged a Jungle tour for us and our guide Jonny did an awesome job! We saw a lot of orang Utans and a lot of other animals, he knew a lot about the animals and the jungle which was great!

Very lovely staff that helped with everything. From arranging the tour into the jungle to making some lovely breakfast and very good smoothies. The room was also perfect with enough room for the 3 people we were with and very clean. The accomodation was also in the middle of the jungle a bit outside of Bukit Lawang what made it a very beautiful surrounding. All in all a perfect accomodation that I would recommend to everyone that thinks about going to Bukit Lawang
I loved my stay ad Ida’s Guest House! Ida and his family are really nice and helpful if you need something!
The room are really confortable, very clean and also if there is no AC in the room it is ok, because the fan is enough also if it is really hot (during the night it gets cooler anyway).
Ida has also a restaurant and the food is fantastic and really varied.
I had an amazing vegetables omelette with a lot of different vegetables, and the soto ayam soup is delicious.
I really enjoyed the stay there and I suggest everybody to stay at Ida’s
