Lovely little village, able to park right outside the front door. Very comfortable cottage, appreciated the small welcome basket. Beds very comfortable, bathroom shower worked well. Kitchen well stocked with dishes, glasses, utensils, coffee, etc. Very good internet once we got the WiFi router charged up. It was plugged into the TV but evidently not used recently. Hosts were easy to communicate with, very responsive to questions. Would gladly stay here again.

The view was outstanding. The bed was comfortable. My sister -in-law slept on the sofa bed. She thought is was comfortable for a sofa bed. It only took about 10 minutes to get to Scrabster to take the ferry to Orkney Island.

Spacious, good location near centre of town and near beach, parking across road, beautifully presented, everything we needed. Only regret is we couldn't stay longer!

The room was lovely, very clean and comfortable. Had a good sized ensuite shower room. Tea and coffee making facilities and fresh milk available. We had a great sleep. Breakfast was very tasty and plenty of options. The hosts were friendly and kind, myself and my son felt very welcomed. We have a new love for Highland Cows.
Close to town and train station - very clean and welcoming. Karen and Michael are great hosts, offering a good breakfast with lots of choices and assistance with transport to the Scrabster ferry terminal (if it suits their day). We had a lovely room facing out to Orkney. Very clean.
