We loved everything about this property from arriving to a gorgeous beautifully fresh clean warm home, thoughtful inclusions in the kitchen, comprehensive provision of all good quality matching kitchen and serving ware, great beds and linen, excellent bathroom and spacious shower, comfortable living and dining room furniture to the tasteful decorating and clear property instructions. Access, internet and parking are all good. There is a handy little store at the top of the road, too. Just to top it off is the location so close to the beach, with beautiful postcard views. We didn’t want to leave.

The room was lovely, very clean and comfortable. Had a good sized ensuite shower room. Tea and coffee making facilities and fresh milk available. We had a great sleep. Breakfast was very tasty and plenty of options. The hosts were friendly and kind, myself and my son felt very welcomed. We have a new love for Highland Cows.
Close to town and train station - very clean and welcoming. Karen and Michael are great hosts, offering a good breakfast with lots of choices and assistance with transport to the Scrabster ferry terminal (if it suits their day). We had a lovely room facing out to Orkney. Very clean.
Room was very clean and tidy. Staff were very friendly and tentative. Food was very good and value for money. The hotel exceeded our expectations in many ways and was the best value for money in our week long journey. We shall return.
