Hillcrest Cottage was outstanding. I could just move in tomorrow! The quality of the decor and furnishings was first class. It was a real home from home. We felt very comfortable and the hosts had thought of everything we could possibly need to enjoy our stay. The views from the house and garden were stunning. The weather was fabulous so we spent most of our time in the garden eating and drinking and enjoying the view. We enjoyed delicious food from the local fish and chip shop and the Chinese takeaway - excellent prices too! We stayed here as part of a golfing trip and there was a great selection of superb golf courses a short drive away. Euan, our host was very helpful before and during our stay. Highly recommend this cottage and Cullen. We would love to go back for another trip and would stay longer the next time as it's so peaceful and relaxing. And of course we will choose Hillcrest for future bookings.

Lovely clean spacious and cosy house in a great location for access to the town and beach. The property had everything we needed for our stay and was very quiet which was ideal for our autistic son.

The location was just perfect, Cullen is a lovely village.
The room was just right, very clean and everything we needed. The bathroom was huge!
The breakfast was delicious, good ingredients and perfect poached eggs.
Best part of our stay was Paula, the owner. She was so helpful and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble for her. Her son even phoned the local hotel, which was excellent, to book a table for us for dinner.
A perfect location. Great views of Cullen Bay, the viaduct and the harbour, close to local amenities - co-op not far away, warm and cosy, everything we needed in our holiday home. Games and books for evening entertainment. We were able to park close by to the property. Enjoyed visiting the costal villages. There are 2 viewing windows at Deans factory in Huntly if you like crumbly shortbread.
We had a pleasant one-night stay at Cullen Bay! The location is outside the city centre and across from the beach, which make it quite nice and quiet. My room had a nice sea view and was very clean and comfortable. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel and both meals were yummy!
The hotel's customer service was exceptional overall and we highly recommend this hotel!
Great location with lovely views from the restaurant. We also had a sea view room. All very clean and comfortable. Really enjoyed dinner - I like fish so lots on offer and we had the cullen skink for starters.
