We stayed in Sainte-Mere Eglise for two nights in Gite Le Jour. Fantastic location overlooking the church square, with plenty of parking in the square at zero or minimal cost. Facilities were good with a complete kitchen.
I went there to find locations in WW2 photographs and found that Gite Le Jour is actually in many of the 1940s vintage photos. bonus!

Great for families or large parties, holiday homes are privately owned accommodation, available for long or short-term rental. These homes are furnished and equipped with kitchen facilities for self-catering, although breakfast may be offered as an add-on. Cozy, quiet place, simple, very clean. Really close to the Airborne Museum. The owner was very friendly, our dogs were welcomed there :) breakfast absolutely delicious - fresh baked bread and croissants, local products on the table 💜
