The chalet was clean, warm, cosy and well equipped. The owners are really friendly and happy to help and accommodate. It was a 15 minute walk into Ruka centre, there is a supermarket less than ten minute walk. The closest ski lift is less than ten minute walk across the lake.

The house is very spacious, comfortable and full of charme. It is located in the forest so it is very quiet, yet amidst other log houses and a few minutes from the main road, easy to reach. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need to prepare meals. Communication with the owner was nice and easy, they gave us also a few tips on nearby trails.

The location of this property is amazing, and it is clean and furnished to a high standard. The host is extremely helpful and was very responsive when dealing with my requests. I would recommend this accommodation to anyone who is planning to stat in Ruka.

I have stayed in Rukan Salonki cottages before and have always liked it. It is best choice for bigger groups because big cottages have 6 bedrooms each and 14 people can fit comfortably
