Located in the magical far away village of Alojera, perfect for adventurers, hikers, and people looking for relaxation and quiet solitude. Wonderful terrace on the roof of the house (shared between both apartments of the house), offering views on the surrounding hillsides, the ocean and on clear days also the neighboring island of La Palma. Parking spot was assured, the neighbors are friendly and the host was kind and helpful, with plenty of practical advice and notes. There are two beaches (Alojera and Trigo), which are approx. 15 minutes walk downhill. Playa Alojera has a local restaurant (Prisma), where we ate the best fish ever - also a recommendation given by our friendly host.

We just returned from holiday in La Gomera. Casa Medina 2 was our home for several nights. This picturesque cottage is located high in the mountain forest, hence it is quiet location with cool and showery nights. The garden was full of blossoming flowers, trees with ripe fruit and friendly ginger cat. The cottage itself offers all the facilities that the description says. The host was always available and very friendly. From me personally I loved the well equipped kitchen, good water pressure in shower, bidet in WC, the WiFi strength, the cottage style and the setting/ the location - it was very nice to sleep in cool cottage after long hot days hiking or enjoying the beach. My partner appreciated the off road parking and the BBQ grill. My recommendation to future visitors would be - rent small car. It is a must. The rural mountain roads are narrow and full of turns. Do the full food and essential shopping while in San Sebastian. If you do not like cooking, that's OK, there is good restaurant few minutes away by car. It takes about 45 minutes to get from San Sebastian up the mountains to Casa Medina 2 - e.i. if you brave and keep to the speed limits!!! Plus add time to your travel because you will often stop and admire the scenery. I recommend this place to all whom love nature, hiking and rural peaceful living. Enjoy :).

Nice, recently renovated and well-equipped authentic appartment. Communication with owner is easy and very pleasant.
Perfect location for two people if you want to explore both Garajonay and Valle Gran Rey. Car recommended but not absolutely necessary (bus stop in Arure). In walking distance to a great viewpoint (Mirador / Ermita del Santo). Overall, we had a great time and would stay there again.

Everything available thats needed including heater and enough extra blankets, nice terrace and nicely located where the hiking route crosses the road with bus stop. Also a nice walk in the forest can be done if you stay more than a night.

The accommodation was very clean and beautifully presented, with everything we wanted for our stay. There was nothing we needed that hadn't already been thought of and provided by Clary, who was the perfect host. We arrived to a spectacular welcome basket of fruit, food essentials and wine. We really found it hard to leave after a fabulous week.

The house is spacious and comfortable, it has everything you need. The kitchen is perfect for a vacation home and it is well equipped with all the necessary (maybe it just misses a colander). The bedroom is big and has a wardrobe, drawers and a comfortable bed. The place is private and peaceful, in the middle of the finca, surrendered by mountains and ocean. The best part of the house is the terrace with stunning views from which you can enjoy amazing sunsets.
Really perfect accommodation that was spacious, very clean, comfortable and in a lovely and peaceful location, and with everything you could need including washing machine, well equipped kitchen, a beautiful balcony and terrace and good secure wifi. Above all else, we were grateful for the kindness of our helpful host Lolo who ensured that we had a wonderful, convenient and very pleasant stay.
