The place is simply remarkable. The Villa 4 Stella Maris is part of the complex of other villas in a very nice area of the main town of the island of Maio - Porto Inglês or Vila do Maio, close to grocery stores and local restaurants. We booked 2 nights, could stay 5 days in the hotel, we liked it very much. The owner family were very friendly, helpful. We enjoyed the good breakfast, everywhere was very clean, nice facility. Near the beach and restaurants around.

The place is very clean and beautiful, just a 5-10 min walk away from the town center and beach. The host, Javier, is friendly and caring. He also got bikes to rent for exploring the island. I would definately come again!
