In a beautiful garden setting, with volcano views from the Rancho, the "Red Frog offers an amazing alternative in the touristy town of La Fortuna. Locally run, the host (Yannia) gave us a warm welcome to the property and was prompt to reply to any questions. Simple yet complete with everything you could want and more. A hidden gem that my family was so happy in that we extended our stay. Mucho gracias!

The accommodation was in a quiet neighbourhood close to the main strip in La Fortuna. The home was clean, large, and had incredibly comfortable beds. We loved having a quiet place as a home base to counter all of the fun we were having in La Fortuna.
Jordi was a very helpful, kind, and responsive host. He was very accommodating with unforeseen changes to our plans and we were quite grateful.

Staying at “Arenal Sweet Cabins” was a very good choice for our trip to Costa Rica. The owner, Christian, did built two very nice and comfortable houses, next to each other and besides his own house still giving maximum privacy. Our house was very clean and all things were arranged in a way that made us feel very welcome right away. The houses are located at a perfect position towards the lively La Fortuna; within a very short distance and at the correct side of La Fortuna! The owner Christian is very helpful and wants to make your stay as pleasant as possible. We immediately felt at home and decided to stay longer. This is a beautiful place for bird lovers. Christian feeds the birds bananas every morning and a multitude of birds come to enjoy them, including several species of toucans. Hummingbirds also fly around very often. Christian plans to expand the bird feeding area so that there is even more to enjoy. Christian is an aimable person and responds very quickly and correctly to requests of his visitors.

The apartments are lovely and of a high standard. Spacious, with beautiful detail and views. Watching the hummingbirds and the other birds was a delight.
