In a beautiful garden setting, with volcano views from the Rancho, the "Red Frog offers an amazing alternative in the touristy town of La Fortuna. Locally run, the host (Yannia) gave us a warm welcome to the property and was prompt to reply to any questions. Simple yet complete with everything you could want and more. A hidden gem that my family was so happy in that we extended our stay. Mucho gracias!

The rooms were excellent, clean and comfortable. The shared kitchen was really well equipped and I was able to make many meals with everything they had.
It's in a good location within the town and you can walk to supermarkets, cafes, and restaurants.

The accommodation was in a quiet neighbourhood close to the main strip in La Fortuna. The home was clean, large, and had incredibly comfortable beds. We loved having a quiet place as a home base to counter all of the fun we were having in La Fortuna.
Jordi was a very helpful, kind, and responsive host. He was very accommodating with unforeseen changes to our plans and we were quite grateful.

Very nice and well equiped cabin in the country side 1 km from the centre of the town. Super Rosevil market on the way is well supplied.
In fact we saw here more birds than in Mistico. The bench next to the entrance door is great.
The price is great, in particular for Fortuna.
Instructions how to reach the cabin were useful.

Stayed 2 nights with family, group of 7, including a baby. The property was perfect fit. Great hosts, clean property, great location/near hot springs, very useful kitchen, restful nights.
