Paradise on earth, together with the spacious house we had our own tropical jungle / garden with sloths, hummingbirds, butterflies in it. No need to go to touristic tours, they are all in the garden of Villa Corazon. And if you want to stay outside of touristy places with privacy this is the right place to be, close enough to access Monteverde, waterfalls, and volcanoes but quiet enough with real CostaRican life. We stayed as a family with young kids and enjoyed ourselves.

Its an amazing place with an amazing view. Its so calm and relaxing. The house and the kitchen have everything you need. Close to the lake to go for a swin. I enjoyed a lot my stay. The owner is very friendly and helpful. Such an especial place. I really reccomend.

Beautiful accommodation and friendly host. Although we did not meet in person, they were aware of our arrival and all the details related to our stay. The room was in perfect condition, 100% clean, bed, towels and kitchen utensils in place. The unit is modern (still smelled new) and the view of Lake Arenal was amazing.

The place is a green oasis of peace and nature. The location is great, and there are a lot of hiking routes at walking distance.

A wonderful place! ... Really "in the sky", all around only nature, no view of houses. Very good for birdwatching, toucans come by daily and hummingbirds are everywhere. There is an observation platform. You can see the volcano and Lake Arenal from everywhere on the property and the many armchairs grouped around the house. The people from the agency are very friendly and helpful. We missed some things in the kitchen and bedside lamps, everything was done immediately. You have to know that there are three units on the property. In addition to the large house with four bedrooms (which we rented), there is a (very) small unit in a kind of garden house for 2 people and another house with 2 bedrooms.

The hutch is quite luxurious, well above the standard of comparable places we had in Costa Rica. The balcony at the back of the house has splendid views with lots of birds and butterflies flying and buzzing around. Hosts (including the two dogs) are really nice and friendly.

Great for families or large parties, holiday homes are privately owned accommodation, available for long or short-term rental. These homes are furnished and equipped with kitchen facilities for self-catering, although breakfast may be offered as an add-on. These properties have their own independent front door, which makes them different to apartments.
Marita and Roberto are the most caring hosts you'll ever meet. The breakfast with view to their lovely garden is great.

We enjoyed the breakfast with a view of the beautiful garden, especially for birdwatchers there is a lot to see. If we are again in the area we will definitely stay there again.
Breakfast was good. Lots of options. We had an upgrade to cabin 10. ( thank you Peggy).Beautiful view of the lake and a private pool. Awesome. More than enough room and a full kitchen. It’s a three bedroom. Would sleep six adults easily. Everyone was friendly and helpful with suggestions for day trips. There are a couple of other good restaurants walking distance for variety. If you stay, try the horse back ride through dense forest, rivers, and wide open hilltop views of the lake. The pics are the views from the back deck and hilltop view.
It felt like paradise! The variety of birds you get to see there is incomparable to any other place! Do yourself a favor, sit down for breakfast on the balcony and see for yourself - you will be surprised, and you definitely won't regret it.
Rooms are very basic but very clean. I'll definitely be back at this lovely place!
