It’s located very close to Gubei Water town( 5 minutes by taxi which costs 2-3 euros).
The owner was very friendly and helpful, even if she didnt speak English we managed to communicate with google translate!

by cable car. Then hiked down. An unforgetable

Location from Beijing was a bit far but the convenience of direct modern train and received by the owners made my choice to Simatai Great Wall no.1

A MUST VISIT TO Simatai Great Wall
The house was very clean, and although they had three beautiful big cats, the whole property was free of cat odors (which I really appreciated, as I am quite sensitive to smells). The location was good, very close to the great wall (they pick you up at the Gubei bus stop station, so very convenient). They also offered home made meals: only vegeratian food options, but delicious (we had both lunch and dinner there). The staff was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay there.
