What can I say about Casa Toscana... for sure that we will not forget our days there! The owner (Jürg) met us upon arrival and gave us a very warm welcome, with lots of tips about what to do in the area.
The house is totally crazy, even more than what you can see in the pictures. It is actually a villa on three levels, plenty of corners where each person (we were six) can find their privacy. The pool is surrounded by tall trees, so you have total privacy there.
If you want a perfect sterile environment maybe you should look further, because here it's like being at a friend's house: sheets and towels are all assorted colours, and maybe you'll find some dust here and there. I don't know about other people, but I know my own house is not spotless clean!
It's a very nice walk along the lake to town centre, and just a short drive to some amazing hiking trails.
Another great thing is that it has not one but TWO private parking spots. And a Nespresso machine with milk foamer for the perfect cappuccino in the morning 😁

Anna was the perfect hostess as she met us up on arrival and oriented us to this fabulous home. Every custom detail made us feel like we were in a Swiss dream . Great for families or large parties, vacation homes are privately owned accommodations, available for long or short-term rental. These homes are furnished and equipped with kitchen facilities, though breakfast might be offered as an add-on. The room is very big and tidy, facilities are well equipped and maintained. Room is very clean and the position is very good. Only 5 minutes away from the train station. We can cook some food for ourselves if we are not able to get any from the restaurant.

The room has a very good view of the lake thun and room is very clean and big enough and the toilet and shower room is quite big too. The hotel is located in the living area , therefore , I can enjoy a piece of quiet . It is as good as it is introduced by the webside. Have a dinner at the restaurant of the hotel is a good experience, the food is very good.

My room was lovely. bed was comfy and shower room very clean and spacious. Breakfast was fantastic with alot of choice and didnt feel hurried to finish and leave. Staff were lovely and friendly and even let me borrow a charger for my phone as had the wrong one with me. The hot drinks machine outside the rooms was great. a good selection of teas and coffee. I would recommend this hotel and will go back when next in the area!
Good location, very close to the lake. Free parking and a bus stop just around the corner, if you don't want to walk or take your car to the city center. Very clean room, big bathroom and good breakfast buffet.
Very comfy and quiet place to stay. A bit far away from the old city but its easy to get to. Even if the hotel looks a bit old, the room exceeded my expectations as its been very clean, with everything you need. Kindly people at the reception and ready to help you if you need.
