Great for families or large parties, vacation homes are privately owned accommodations, available for long or short-term rental. These homes are furnished and equipped with kitchen facilities, though breakfast might be offered as an add-on. These properties have their own independent front door, which makes them different than apartments.
This lovely home offered our family a great base while we were in town for a wedding. Beds were comfy, the two bedrooms were on separate floors, and the place was very clean and tasteful. Bonus was the deck seating looking out over some green space. A small beach was a 2-minute walk away.

The Wessex Inn is great value for the price you're paying. The building & grounds are well maintained, & the rooms are spacious & very clean. The staff were very helpful & friendly, & the location is a stones throw from the ocean. And it's always nice to find a place that welcomes your pets as well as you. Highly recommend.
Older building but all facilities/accessories still in VERY good shape! Rooms were well supplied with nearly full-sized fridge/freezer, beds were super comfy, bathrooms very clean! And the view from the balcony was lovely, right out to the water across the street! For all of this, great price!
Very clean and well organized. Easy to find just off the highway not too far from the Swartz Bay ferry. I would absolutely stay there again when I’m the Duncan area.

Staff was very attentive and helpful as we asked for a late check in. Solution was very practical and allowed for a seamless check in. Location was great, and breakfast recommendation was spot on.
