Van der Stel Manor is situated in a residential area, 5 minutes' drive from the centre of Stellenbosch. The restored Cape Dutch home features a garden and outdoor pool. The room was spacious, well equipped and elegant. During the load shedding the WiFi and lights still worked. There was also a heating option. The breakfast was overwhelming. We could choose between freshly baked, warm scones and croissants for starters. There were also fresh fruits, granola and yogurt. Last but not least we could choose between all types of eggs with bacon/mushrooms/tomatoes/avocado etc. The hosts were very friendly and gave us helpful recommendations for wine tastings. The location was very quiet and safe.

Situated along the garden route, only 2 km from Franschhoek, Lavender Farm Guest House is nestled in a valley surrounded by mountains. Guests can relax on a sun lounger, poolside, under an umbrella. Gorgeous looking Guest house and grounds . We stayed in one of suites overlooking the lavender Field which had a small terrace with table and chairs to chill. Spacious and large room. Breakfast was great. Slightly out of main drag of town but easy with an Uber to get around if needed. We did 3 of the vineyards on the tram tour which was great and enough on a hot day.

Boasting a splendid setting between mountains and sea, this charming Provençal style guesthouse is set in the historic town centre of Hermanus, overlooking the picturesque Old Harbour. beautiful boutique hotel that was so welcoming! location couldn’t have been more perfect and the staff were lovely & helpful. breakfast at the restaurant was amazing too!

The serene setting, charming ambiance, and thoughtful details made our stay unforgettable. The swimming pool, with its amazing view, was a highlight, and the aircon was a lifesaver in the December heat. The braai area was well-equipped and spotless, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. It was the perfect place for us to get engaged, and we are definitely going back—highly recommended for a magical getaway!
