Set in Rapid City, 27 km from Mount Rushmore, Sweetgrass Inn Bed & Breakfast offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar. It was spotlessly clean and its countryside location made it a restful haven. To be surrounded by fields and in quiet surroundings was perfect. My room was spacious and very comfortable. The bathroom facilities were excellent and extra bonus marks for providing a rubber bath mat to stand on when showering. You do not see that little touch too often. The breakfast bar which doubled as a restaurant and bar during the day and into the evening provided a perfect place to eat or relax after a day out. Adam and Andrea were perfect hosts, too. They were friendly and relaxed and happy to help with anything. I can not fault this establishment. My five nights with them were all outstanding value for money.

When I arrived, the owner suggested we visit the Missouri river during sunset and it was beautiful. Perfect swim before the end of the day. The laundry machines were priced well and worked wonderfully. Breakfast was exactly as I expected and the kids enjoyed themselves.
