Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Clean and fresh suite. Stocked with everything you might need if you planned on cooking. We did not cook but appreciated the full size fridge and coffee pot. Found Clorox wipes under the sink (my husband was sick and wanted to wipe down some surfaces). Needed scissors to cut off some tags and was pleasantly surprised to find some in the first drawer I opened. Beds were very comfortable, bathrooms well appointed.

Boasting a terrace and views of garden, Lamberson Guest House is a bed and breakfast set in a historic building in Galena, 25 km from Diamond Jo Casino. The house, bedroom, and bathroom were all beautiful, comfy, and in very good condition. The couple who run Lamberson Guest House were absolutely delightful, well-prepared, and thoughtful. They went above and beyond what we were expecting in making our getaway special, and there were so many amenities, including good food and drinks, and extra special touches that they have thought of – I've already been recommending them and their beautiful, cozy guest house to friends and family!

Cutest little coach house in the rear of the house. Well appointed without being fussy. Waesy to adjust the temperature at will. Extras of anything well at hand. Little kitchenette made mornings and evenings a breeze.

Set in Plainfield, within 14 km of Joliet Area Historical Museum and 24 km of Chicagoland Speedway, The Plainfield Inn offers accommodation with a garden and free WiFi throughout the property as well... Fantastic place. Perfect in every way. Very tastefully restored building. Extremely clean and comfortable. Seriously better than a 5 star hotel. We got a very warm welcome from Justin and everyone we met in town were so friendly.We stopped on way from O’Hare to Springfield and sorry we only had a one night stay as it’s a beautiful small town with lots of character and good eating places. We had dinner in Sovereign , a one minute walk away as recommended and had a lovely meal.
