Mazzoli was such a nice stay. My host, Innocence, was very helpful, sorting communication with my safari company, dropping me off at a pick up point and picking me up in the airport.
I was sad to only stay for a night, would've loved to spend a little longer and enjoy the atmosphere a bit more.

Fantastic location, friendly stuff, delicious food and amazing vibe of old house. It was the best place to finalise the Tanzanian trip. Not easy to find because the hotel is located behind the Aga Khan University. I'd like to return to this place one more time.

Beautiful and cosy gem in a quiet area yet not too far from the city. The room was spacious, clean, stunning and had all I needed. The breakfast was delicious, the common sitting area around the pool cosy and most of all, the hosts were so warm and welcoming! I loved my stay here!
Great place 20 minutes walking from the city center. It’s so calm and charming with a lot of plants and great decorations and very clean. But the best part is the hosts. Everyone is so kind and helpful, always smiling and always willing to get you anything you need.
We slept a total of 3 nights at Utamanduni Hous and were very impressed with the accommodation. The accommodation has 4 very nicely furnished rooms, one common room and a big garden. Chris is a great host and the staff are incredibly helpful. Traditional cooking was done for us in the evening. The breakfast with fresh fruits as well as jam and pancakes is excellent. The property also has a beautifully landscaped garden with a seating area around a campfire pit and a small outdoor bar.
The place is perfect if you look for a quiet and relaxing stay in Arusha that you can spend in the very nice garden in the back yard. The hosts are very friendly and supportive with everything you need. Bus station and city center are in 5- to 10-minutes driving distance, a local street kitchen with nice food for little money is within 3 minutes walking distance. All in all highly recommended!
The house is well located, close to Fifis Restaurant and the city center. Derek was a great host, collected us from the airport and checked on us throughout our stay.
I like to think of this place as a bed and breakfast or boutique hotel. It is a small cute hotel located off a dirt road about 15 - 20mins from Arusha Airport. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was cheap and nice. Location was in the middle of town with so many businesses nearby.
Nice place a bit outside of Arusha,but can get into town very easily and cheap by Dala dala or boda boda,so no problem but nicely located for a bit more peace and quiet :) the staff is all very friendly and helpful, maybe sometimes you have to wait a little, but ..pole pole..:)) The tour of the banana plantation was very interesting and the food always very nice :) also on of the best showers in Hostel accomodations in Tanzania so far!
