Located 17 km from Salammbo Tophet Archaeological Museum, Dar Dorra offers a terrace, a bar and air-conditioned accommodation with a patio and free WiFi. This property really exceeded my expectations. Even though located in the heart of the Medina, the area was very calm and peaceful. The building and rooms are very tastefully decorated and the services were all very well-done. Breakfast was available even during Ramadan and the staff were very attentive. The hammam was clean, warm, and lovely and the attendants were extremely kind. You are within 3 minutes from the Zitouna mosque, most of the Souk, and the ministerial buildings. I slept very peacefully in the comfortable bed, there was coffee and snacks made available, and the bathroom is well equipped.

Anna was amazing, generous & one of the kindest hosts I’ve ever met. We missed our original flight & she was kind enough not to charge us for the 1st night. Anna even made us breakfast and gave us some great recommendations. I can’t thank her enough. The staff were attentive and genuine. Highly recommended.

The service level and professionalism of Sana and her team as in Ons, Jihen and all the other staff is one of the highest we have experienced. And the little special gestures and nuances made it even more special such as arranging a surprise birthday cake for my partner as well as gifting her a book which she enjoyed during our stay just topped it all. Thanks to all at Maison Dedine, look forward to seeing you all again soon Will definitely be visiting again soon.

The property is situated in the very center of the old part - Medina. The property it self has a vibe of past times and it's nicely decorated. The stuff was very nice and the breakfast tasty and plentiful.

Thanks to Dar Douads recommendation we used BOLT app to have fast, traceable and cheap taxi rides all over the city. Strongly recommend to use it’s service from airport which will cost around 20 dinars, not more. There is a great shop nearby to buy really nice honey, nuts, olive oil, etc… check the name of the shop with hosts
