Featuring an infinity pool and views of pool, Jade cottages is a recently renovated guest house located in Koh Samui, 2 km from Bophut Beach. Beautiful property tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Breakfast was great with impeccable service from the staff. Food from the cafe (for dinner) was equally good. It really was the perfect stay to rest and rejuvenate.

Set within a few steps of Bang Po Beach and 11 km of Fisherman Village in Ban Bang Po, Coco Sea Bangpo Resort offers accommodation with seating area. This was our second visit to Coco Sea Bang Po Resort. We spent five weeks in one of the two beachfront rooms. The rooms are modern, comfortable and clean. Su the owner is friendly and charming and takes good care of her guests. The location is perfect, just a few meters from the beach with chairs and bean bags for you to relax in the shade of the palm trees. Bang Po beach is one of the quietest beaches on Koh Samui and perfect for just relaxing and swimming. There are plenty of restaurants, two 7-11 and a mini Big C store all within a few minutes walk.

Featuring a garden and views of mountain, Billion Views Khaosok Homestay is a recently renovated guest house set in Khao Sok, 20 km from Khao Sok. Nut and Pierre are welcoming you in their beautiful home in the jungle and you just wish time could be stopped. Lovely people and you really feel as welcomed and taken care of by family. The view all around is breathtaking, pictures simply cannot do justice. We had all the comfort we could have wished for during our stay and particularly loved having mosquito nets on the terrace door/ windows so we could listen to the jungle sounds all night. Nut was helping us with organising an amazing raft tour and we also participated in her famous cooking class learning how to cook several traditional dishes. She also showed us how to decorate with edible flowers and we really enjoyed bird watching together from her terrace. And Manao, the family's labrador, makes you smile every time, he is adorable and joyful, and also guarded us all night sleeping in front of our room. We loved our stay, had an amazing time and would love to return some day. Thank you both for your wonderful hospitality!

Set within 6.3 km of Donsak Ferry Terminal in Don Sak, Khwahol Guesthouse features accommodation with seating area. This property offers access to a balcony and free private parking. The hosts really are amazing!!! Holger is the perfect host, drop offs & pick ups to and from the pier, with even a short stop at the Don Sak wat and view point. And if you have the time to enjoy the cooking of his friendly wife Khwanchai, do it. It is so good.

Situated in Baan Tai, BeauBo Beach offers beachfront accommodation 1.5 km from Baan Kai Beach and features various facilities, such as a garden, a terrace and a bar. Beaubo is nothing but an excellent host. She was very attentive, invited me to her birthday dinner with other hosts,she offered her office to work from when I had a meeting. There’s a beautiful view on the sea, and the bungalow was comfortable. I can recommend:)

Located 400 metres from Thong Nai Pan Noi, The Hill Village features free WiFi access and free private parking. Certain rooms have a seating area where you can relax. The view is amazing, staff is super helpful and other guests were very friendly. I would say the pool is the best I have seen. Very clean and quiet.

Boasting free bikes, Siri Guesthouse @ Surat Thani is set in Suratthani in the Surat Thani Province region, 14 km from Surat Thani Railway Station and 8.5 km from Surat Thani Rajabhat University. The room was very clean and comfortable. Very good value. Within a few minutes walk you can find restaurants and grocery stores. Jan was there to greet us before we even got out of our Grab and welcomed us and helped with getting our luggage to our room. We had read that she would make us dinner upon request so we had a delicious dinner in her little tree and plant lined courtyard. My husband had a Sea Bass curry which was the best fish he has had so far after 3 weeks in Thailand. Perfectly cooked. My curry was wonderful as well. Jan got some of the spice and produce from her garden while we were sitting and enjoying the birds around the area. One was hanging around one of the hanging baskets and I received some follow up messages and pictures that showed a nest and then a picture of a baby bird and another egg. These are the best memories that you make on a holiday! I cannot comment on location but it was about 15 minutes from the train station (300 bht) and then the Grab picked us up the next morning for our trip to Koh Lanta. (We were even able to watch a bit of Netflix on TV in the room.)

Situated in Koh Tao, 300 metres from Mae Haad Beach and less than 1 km from Sairee Beach, K2N Guesthouse offers a terrace and air conditioning. Everything! Staff very kind and helpful from the first second on. The room is very modern, big and clean. Our room was located on the other side of the road and very quiet. We were supposed to stay 2 nights and booked 2 extra nights because we liked it so much.

Set 12 km from Surat Thani Railway Station, Aiem-Wilai Guesthouse offers air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace. This guest house offers free private parking and free shuttle service. For an overnight between the islands and flight from Surat Thani, this was perfect and seamless. Mr Yo and his lovely wife ensured I was picked up on time, fed and was comfortable. I felt like a valued guest.
