Set 12 km from Surat Thani Railway Station, Aiem-Wilai Guesthouse offers air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace. This guest house offers free private parking and free shuttle service. We stayed here for 1 night and it was so lovely. The staff are incredible and went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant. It is the perfect spot if you have a flight in Surat Thani as it is super close to the airport and provides free transport to and from. The rooms are also super cute and clean.

Providing free WiFi, private parking and an infinity pool, the recently renovated property of Jade cottages, offers rooms in Koh Samui, 2 km from Bophut Beach and 1.9 km from Fisherman Village. Beautiful property tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Breakfast was great with impeccable service from the staff. Food from the cafe (for dinner) was equally good. It really was the perfect stay to rest and rejuvenate.

Set within a few steps of Bang Po Beach and 11 km of Fisherman Village in Ban Bang Po, Coco Sea Bangpo Resort offers accommodation with seating area. Our room was beachfront and beautiful. Literally steps away from the water. You can take long walks along the beach in either direction. Behind you will be the main street with several restaurants nearby, two 7-elevens, at least 5 cafes, and a small fruit market that serves delicious smoothies. Our landlord Su lives on the property and came by every day to check on us. She was the most gracious of host and gave us advice for food and night markets to go. She even arranged affordable transportation to the airport so we didn’t need to call an expensive taxi. Overall an amazing stay and tropical beachfront experience we’ll remember forever.

The owners are amazing. We had the best time with incredible view and amazing food. The hosts helped us to organize everything, served us great Thai food and thaught us traditional Thai cooking. The view from the house is breathtaking (even on rainy days)

Lovely family, very clean and big room with comfortable bed, delicious food and very good service. For instance: Holger picked us up from the train station very, very early in the morning (around 5.30 am). And brought us the following day to the pier. All for reasonable prices. He offers tours but also rents a good motorbike. He gave us lots of information to do this. The surroundings are very quiet and very beautiful. And he knows where to find the pink dolphins nearby (of course no guarantees, it is nature). And his wife Khanchai cookes a delicious meal, we loved it! Also the separate breakfast is very, very nice with homemade bread. We tried to come back after our stay at an island but sadly for us they were already fully booked for that day. When we are in the neighbourhood again, we certainly want to stay again at Holgers and Khanchais place.

Absolutely worth it! Secluded bungalows, what a beautiful place. Value for money, I hope to be back soon. For the old/drunk/high, be WARY, the hills in this area as all have said, can be intimidating (Hill Village... nuff said) . Rest assured, the scooters available for hire are capable of toppling it all and are pristine. I wish I had more time to explore the immediate vicinity....

The Owners are lovely and very helpful and welcoming, the lady even offered to take us to the airport if we couldn’t find an Uber, which was really generous. The room is very clean, included a fridge and TV and good storage space for luggage, feels quite new and bathroom was well equipped with a good shower. I would definitely stay here again!

Perfectly clean, really beautiful setting in the garden, great shower and bed, amazing owner Na, restaurant and mini mart next door, breakfast available (although I didn’t try). Just outside of town but great if you have a motorbike.
