Such a beautiful place, the garden was amazing with tall palms, right by the sea shore. The host was helpful, we also rented a scooter for 4 days to explore the island. Spacious room, clean, comfortable bed.

The host & her daughter were so funny and exceptionally welcoming! They made sure everything was perfect for our stay and were super helpful even with the language barrier. They were able to provide us 2 scooter rentals (koh yao yai was the only place in Thailand that I drove my own scooter it was very calm and remote). They brought us water and home made breakfast (the fried dough was amazing!) They were able to provide us a laundry service and our clothes came back very clean. I highly recommend staying at Relaxing House Koh Yao Yai and booking a Hong Island Boat Tour through the owner, it was our favorite boat tour that we did on our two months traveling throughout Thailand. The beaches were beautiful. It's a little away from the main tourist area which we found nice, a short 15 minute scooter ride if we wanted to get over to the resorts/ shopping. The bungalow was clean and we loved the owner's kitty's coconut would have my morning coffee with me while I worked remotely.

The highlight was the breathtaking mountain view right from my window – it truly added a peaceful, scenic vibe to my stay. The owner starting from a warm welcoming, always available with friendly advice on places to visit, activities to try, and the best spots for local dining. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a cozy, scenic, and well-hosted stay!

Amazing hidden gem right in the heart of nature. The owners are also very nice people, trying to make you feel the best. About the bungalow: You have everything you need in there, very good Aircon, nice shower, comfortable bed, terrace, tv working place, incredible good wifi internet (fiber). Also it's positioned so good on the island making it easy to access both south and north side. I had a very pleasant and relaxing stay which I am very thankful for.

Koh Yao Modern Inn -SHA Plus อยู่ในเกาะยาวใหญ่ ห่างจากแหลมหาด 600 ม. Nice little house, good firm mattress, proper AC, even has a working desk, there’s a nice porch to relax with a garden view. Good location, close to a 7-11. Family that runs business is kind and helpful. Recommend.
