Cannot praise this place enough. The internal decor is top notch with fantastic marble throughout. The owners were very pleasant and always ready to help with a smile. The pool area is very spacious and pool size just right. The room had all facilities with balcony overlooking the Danube river. The food was always excellent and varied. I highly recommend. Ideal for romantic couple and also for family with children.

Casa RoxAmy, a property with a garden, is situated in Orşova, 17 km from Iron Gate I, 19 km from Rock Sculpture of Decebalus, as well as 47 km from Cazanele Dunării. The room was quiet and very comfy, the location is perfect as it is in the city centre and there is a shop closeby open until 11pm. Simona and Nelu are wonderful. They helped us a lot. I would like to come back for sure !

Vila Siminica is a recently renovated guest house in Salcia, where guests can make the most of its garden and barbecue facilities. Everything is great. Location is very suitable on the way, the house is big and extremely comfortable, owner is awesome. Security dog is extremely friendly, security cat is a talker, both love cheese if you have some... Actually, not only cheese 😃

The rooms were big enough for a couple, very clean, the balconies are facing a gorgeous view. The kitchen is very well equipped, the dinning area has plenty of space so you can enjoy your meal. The pool area is lovely. There is an additional private beach at the Danube's bank that is equipped with a grilling space.

NOAH river house features a hot tub and free private parking, and is within 20 km of Iron Gate I and 21 km of Rock Sculpture of Decebalus. Great location, right on the river bank, with a beautiful view of the Danube. Beautiful design, very clean, and comfortable. The cats were cute also.

Boasting garden views, Casa Clau Cazare Orșova provides accommodation with a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, an open-air bath and a garden, around 19 km from Rock Sculpture of Decebalus. We loved this place. Right on a hill looking over the Danube River. There is a plunge pool and a BBQ area and tables to eat at and fridges. There is no kitchen as such but Pizzas can be delivered. I must also mention the owners of this place, he was so kind. He booked us a river trip and took us there, he also took us to the railway station ( we have no car) when we left. He also checked on us after we had got on the train to Bucharest to see if we were OK. I am very, very happy with this place.

Lovely location, nice views, great, helpful and very friendly host. The owner booked the boat trip for us on the Danube to see Cazanele Dunarii & Decebal statue.
