The place is a gem! We had low expectations given that the property was next to the train station, but we only wanted a bed and breakfast after a long day hiking at Machu Picchu. We arrived later than expected (around 11pm) due to a delay in our train departure of more than two hours, but the reception made very easy the formalities such that we could get fast to our room. We could not see much of the property in the evening, but we were happy to find we had a huge room, heated, and with bathtub in the bathroom! The place is unexpectedly quiet, with a beautiful garden and plenty of places to relax. You can also walk to their garden and see their production of fruits and veggies which are used in the kitchen. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast in the garden, admiring hummingbirds, and all in all we can only recommend the place!

The room (#4) had an amazing view, the bed was super comfortable and the shower with hot water was great. Breakfast was delicious and Jorge was a wonderful host. We hope to return to Ollantaytambo soon.
