I felt very quickly like at home, thanks to the good vibes and the cosy shared area with the fireplace and the practical kitchen, where it's easy to meet other people and to share your stories and experiences. The rooms are also confortable and clean ! Moreover, Chris, the hostel owner, is very helpful and will help you for every questions that you have on the things to see and to do in Huaraz. I also enjoyed taking my breakfast on the terrace with an amazing view on the mountains around the city. I definitely recommend this place to every backpackers, who will enjoy the cosy and friendly atmosphere of this small hostel !

Plus, there's a convenient public minivan that takes you to the city center for just a few cents. Highly recommended, and I would definitely stay there again!

The community room with view over Huaraz was really comfortable. Located in a really nice and calm area of the city, in walking distance to downtown and many nice restaurants.

With mountain views, Casa Hospedaje"Los Capulies" is set in Carhuaz and has a restaurant, a 24-hour front desk, bar, garden, sun terrace and picnic area. Very friendly and helpful staff. I was bitten by a dog one evening and the owner offered to drive me to the hospital that night (didn't end up doing that), but then he brought me to the local clinic in the morning and helped explain what happened since we didnt have much Spanish. Extremely grateful for that! Otherwise the place itself was nice too - comfy beds and a spacious room. Breakfast was decent in the morning too. They also allowed us to make a couple.of sandwiches in the evening to bring with us on a tour the following day since we were leaving very early.

The house was extremely clean, which was very nice. Norma also provided our trekking to Laguna 69 which was super nice. The price/quality expectations were beyond met. It is a nice, quiet residency from where you can go on trips/trekkings well-rested.
