Plus, there's a convenient public minivan that takes you to the city center for just a few cents. Highly recommended, and I would definitely stay there again!

With river views, Hacienda Norabuena is located in Recuay and has a restaurant, a 24-hour front desk, bar, garden, sun terrace and outdoor fireplace. Gonzolo and Melissa were fantastic. Great hosts. Also enjoyed having a Llama around :) For a fair price, you have a wonderful hotel in a great location away from the city.

Alpino Guest House is offering accommodation in Huaraz. It is located 2.9 km from Estadio Rosas Pampa and provides room service. We loved the staff, they were friendly, kind, communicative, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond for us. They also spoke English very well, which is not common in Huaraz, so that made this stay a lot easier for us because we are not strong Spanish speakers. The rooms and the bathroom were clean. The location was quiet so we were able to sleep well. Hot water was available (the labels were incorrect but there was hot water nonetheless). We had good phone signal/reception and wifi was available. The hotel staff also booked our tours for us which helped make our trip smooth and easy. They also offered to make us breakfast for a small fee since we had to be up really early for our tours. This was such a pleasant stay, I highly recommend.

A good location for a stress-free holiday in Carhuaz, Casa Hospedaje"Los Capulies" is a guest house surrounded by views of the garden. Very friendly and helpful staff. I was bitten by a dog one evening and the owner offered to drive me to the hospital that night (didn't end up doing that), but then he brought me to the local clinic in the morning and helped explain what happened since we didnt have much Spanish. Extremely grateful for that! Otherwise the place itself was nice too - comfy beds and a spacious room. Breakfast was decent in the morning too. They also allowed us to make a couple.of sandwiches in the evening to bring with us on a tour the following day since we were leaving very early.
