The lady who runs the house was so lovely, welcoming and helpful with everything. The room we stayed in was spacious and cosy. The shared bathrooms were very clean. Wild Thyme is situated a 15-minute walk from Oneroa Village and a 35 minute ferry ride from downtown Auckland. Free WiFi and free private parking are available. Wonderful hosts Jules and Bruce went out of their way to make this a fantastic stay, from rides around the island to an impromptu Christmas Day dinner! Thank you! The location is also great, close to Oneroa village and beaches, and our kids enjoyed exploring the garden.

Very friendly and helpful with all enquiries, lovely heritage hotel with lots of things to do and nice restaurants and shops within walking distance

Really kind owner/host -so easy to talk with; she upgraded our room to be more spacious just from the kindness of her heart; very clean and comfortable; you can use kitchen to cook own food; fridge for guests to put their food in; windows opened in room for air; fresh flowers in room and bathroom; soft towels; quiet local neighborhood; easy to walk to restaurants and grocery store; laundromat nearby; we felt right at home
