Situated in Balgue, Ananda Guesthouse features accommodation with seating area. The property has lake and garden views, and is 12 km from Maderas Volcano. The breakfast options were lovely, the view on the volcano was amazing and I really enjoyed having our private terrace with a hammock and howler monkeys that visited the surrounding nature every day. Oh, and the stars on a not cloudy day, best I have ever seen so far! We have really enjoyed our week on the island, could easily have stayed a bit longer. Café Campestre was nearby, great place for dinner. All in all, it was better than we imagined, thank you!

Very chill environment and the owners truly make you feel like part of the family. They have the biggest hearts and they also keep the facility very clean and comfortable feeling. Red pepper is the perfect stay for couples. Fairly priced, built with great attention to detail, and managed in a very sustainable way. Everything works perfectly. Tidy rooms, each with its own terrace on top, and a complete kitchen. Mariken and Mark are lovely hosts and we ended up extending our stay. Would really recommend the curry night on Monday and Wednesday; excellent food and affordable prices.

Great location, really good breakfast, super fast WiFi and able to work easily downstairs. Nice staff, clean room.

Facing the seafront in Altagracia, La Sirenita - Ometepe has a garden and a bar. The property features mountain and lake views, and is 6.2 km from Maderas Volcano. The location is beautiful!! Beach huts are clean, comfortable and cozy. The lake is on your doorstep with views of the volcano to your right and a great sunset bar to your left. An island paradise with lovely dogs, chickens, a cat, ducks along with a friendly and helpful owner. Scooter access is 100% okay! There is a restaurant next door but if you want to go to others it’s a close 10min drive. Look no further and stay here!
