When we came we did not have any food with us, he lent us his scooter for free to go get some food in town. We could also store our baggage when exploring the island for a few days. Great location with a nice vibe. Would come again.

The location was great, with a fantastic view. The staff was super helpful and friendly. The grounds were stunning. The finishes and decorating were high end. The kitchen and bathroom were beautiful. Red pepper is the perfect stay for couples. Fairly priced, built with great attention to detail, and managed in a very sustainable way. Everything works perfectly. Tidy rooms, each with its own terrace on top, and a complete kitchen. Mariken and Mark are lovely hosts and we ended up extending our stay. Would really recommend the curry night on Monday and Wednesday; excellent food and affordable prices.

We bought some fruit and avocado and they cut it up and served it with our breakfast. Great value for the price.

The lake is on your doorstep with views of the volcano to your right and a great sunset bar to your left. An island paradise with lovely dogs, chickens, a cat, ducks along with a friendly and helpful owner. Scooter access is 100% okay! There is a restaurant next door but if you want to go to others it’s a close 10min drive. Look no further and stay here!
