We came here for our anniversary and the staff made this day unforgettable, the decorations and all the special details. All rooms have names and we were upgraded to the Bridge, the top floor room with the most amazing view over the ocean. The staff was lovely and super helpful, thanks to everyone to do such a good job, it really makes a difference.

The waterhole in front of our room was great entertainment with all the animals that went there to drink. The game drive was a lot of fun. Peaceful and beautiful.

The host kept on checking up on us before the check-in and if we are still safe on the road. She even advised us to get connected to the local network so that we won't lose connection. She welcomed us warmly and the check in was seamless. The accommodation exceeded my expectation, even more than what's been displayed on the images. There's also a fully operational laundry room , so you can stay longer without having to worry about the laundry. Even though the area is safe, but we were provided with safe , remote controlled lock-up garage which made our stay convenient. The small garden provides a tranquil needed to start your day with. Located in Swakopmund and only 16 km from Rossmund Golf Course, Moon Landscape Self Catering provides accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. My wife and I booked 3 nights at Moon Landscape outside Swakopmund. As the rate was very reasonable and suited our budget, we didn’t expect much. The host Suzanne invited us for an early check-in. (Not common practice at most other places) Heartly welcomed by Suzanne, offered a nice ice-cold welcome drink, and briefed us on what was available. The view from our unit and from the common guest area was very peaceful and eerie in a sense. Late afternoon Suzanne invited us and the two other guests for a tour into the Moon Landscape valley and hills. What an unsuspected experience this was, the landscape was breathtaking, and it was clear why it is called Moon Landscape. (Scenes of the movie, Mad Max, an apocalyptic story set in the furthest reaches of our planet, in a stark desert landscape, were shot in the area.) On our return we were invited to braai at the common area with the hosts and the other two guests. Hindi, Suzanne’s husband spoiled us with his interesting stories and time went too quick. The unit was very clean and stocked with everything needed for a pleasant stay, even a gas barbeque inside the unit, the springbuck kebabs barbequed excellent on the gas braai. Fresh milk in the fridge, 5 litres of drinking water and full suite of Netflix including internet connectivity and good Wi-Fi include in the very reasonable rate. Next day Suzanne spoiled us with a freshly homemade mealie bread and sweet peaches. In closing, arrived as strangers and left as friends. Thanks once again for the tour and your hospitality.
