Kurumba Lodge is a wonderful place with an awesome family. From the first welcome drink until the last moment of GoodBye it was an unforgettable lifetime for us. The son Naditha and his parents supported us in nearly every aspect, we could image. Wether it was some technical problems with my camera or an unforgettable safari – in every moment, they were so helpful. The self made food, the drinks, everything tasted very well. The place of the lodge is also very nice. The terrace with a wide view, all the wildlife animals – for us as nature lovers and photographers – perfect. And by the way, the bed, the matress, the AC – we slept like in heaven. The hardest thing was to say goodbye, because it felt already like at home. We felt in love with these wonderful and heart warming people.

Dinner is served at the cabin and its decent quality and a reasonable price. Ask for pancakes at breakfast, they are really good.

The host and all the staff were very welcoming and helpful. We booked the safari in Wilputtu Park through them, and it was great. We saw leopards. Amongst other animals, of course. We were so lucky. The accommodation was quiet and the food was lovely.
