This was a brilliant homestay hosted by Allan. He was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable and helped us with our coach booking home and places of interest including the brilliant service at the local temple. I cannot seak to highly of this experience. Your are completely at home here in wonderful JAFFNA

Sunflowers Canada House está en Jaffna, a 2,8 km de Jaffna Railway Station, y dispone de alojamiento con jardín, estacionamiento privado gratis y terraza. This is a very charming, impeccable guesthouse with a small number of rooms. I had an upper room in the house, spacious, private, with great working electrical, lighting and AC, a large comfortable bed, and lots of natural light. The room includes an ensuite bathroom and has access to a well-equipped shared kitchen. The entire unit is meticulously clean and well-maintained, on a far higher standard than most places I have stayed in here. The lodge is located in a very green, leafy neighborhood, probably one of the nicer neighborhoods of Jaffna. It isn't close to anything much, but the restaurants and cafes you do find are very good. Note that the lodge is difficult to find, as it is located on a side alley that is not on the map. Follow the signs posted at street corners and you will find it!

The front of desk staff was very helpful in arranging food and taxi. Good value of money. I had a fantastic stay at flamingo villa I requested.

Raj’s place is an excellent base for a few days in Jaffna. Raj is an outstanding host—very friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. The rooms are simple, clean, and have great air conditioning. They also include a hot shower with excellent water pressure. The location is a five-minute walk to a few local restaurants or about a 25-minute walk (or a short drive) to Jaffna town. The place is a lovely, relaxing, and peaceful spot to unwind after a day of sightseeing. Breakfast is available for an additional 900 LKR per person. The breakfast is excellent—a very generous spread of authentic cuisine that changes daily. We thoroughly enjoyed Raj’s hospitality and would definitely return if we’re in Jaffna again.

El Senthil Complex se encuentra en Jaffna, a 2,3 km del templo Nallur Kandaswamy y a 2,6 km de la biblioteca pública de Jaffna, y ofrece alojamiento con jardín, wifi gratis y estacionamiento privado... Cuando llegamos nos ayudaron a transportar el equipaje a la habitación. La habitación era amplia. Tenia aire acondicionado (muy importante en Jaffna, al ser uno de los sitios más cálidos del país). El baño estaba muy limpio, de hecho, en nuestra estancia en Sri Lanka pasamos por mas de 10 hoteles, y en este, el baño sin duda el mas limpio con diferencia. En Jaffna es un poco mas complicado salir a cenar fuera, ya que todo cierra muy temprano. Y aunque la ubicación del hotel es buena, nos es agradable andar de noche, además allí no están acostumbrados a ver a turistas (aunque no tuvimos ningún problema para visitar la ciudad). Decidimos pedir comida por Internet, y los chicos del hotel nos ayudaron en todo momento y nos aconsejaron dónde comer! El desayuno era bueno y completo, nos dieron te y café. Tostadas con mermelada, fruta y tortilla (aunque hay que pedir que no te pongan picante, hacen una especie de tortilla de verduras con chili).
