Chaminda is an excellent host. He is very knowledgeable about the area and gave us lots of accurate, up to date information about the area and things to do (much more up to date information than we were able to find online). The rooms are spacious, clean and tidy. The bedding is nice, warm and cosy – perfect for the slightly cooler weather in Nuwara Eliya. The shower had good hot water. The breakfast was nice and always on time each morning. We’d happily stay again.

Located in Hatton, within 41 km of Gregory Lake and 32 km of Adam's Peak, White House Bungalow Hatton provides accommodation with a terrace as well as free private parking for guests who drive. The White House Bungalow is a very clean place with an extremely nice owner. Hot water in the spacious bathroom and each of our 2 rooms had a terrace. We noticed an avocado tree in a nearby garden, a few minutes later we got a bag full of avocados... We left very early in the morning to climb Adam's Peak, we got our take-away breakfast at 5 a.m. on New Years day! What a good service.

This was the nicest experience we ever had in a hotel! We were welcomed with tea and cake. The staff helped us with our luggage and the main host was just incredible! He organized a half a day tuk tuk trip for us at a very good price, we could also socialize with other guests over an extraordinary supper. The food in the hotel was very good and the breakfasts not only tasted amazing but also looked beautiful. Even my lactose intolerance was taken into account and I got some special meals that I could eat. Thank you for the amazing stay!

The host and her family are super kind, we were in the new beautiful room with a wonderful view. The food is delicious, especially the sweet pancakes

Located in Adams Peak and only 300 metres from Adam's Peak, Lavendra Guset House provides accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. Very nice staff! They provided us with raincoats and a flashlight for our hike to Adam’s peak. The breakfast after was amazing.

This guesthouse is a modest accommodation but will 100% fullfill your needs. They treated us to some excellent tea on arrival which we appreciated as we were freezing. Very thick blankets on the bed will keep you warm. The shower always had nice hot water available. He also immediately offered a packed lunch when we said we'd be leaving at 5am to hike Horton Plains.
