Offering a garden and mountain view, Shevyhaws is situated in Nuwara Eliya, 3.8 km from Gregory Lake and 11 km from Hakgala Botanical Garden. Extreamly clean, comfortable and quiet place. A very spacious room. Owner and family couldn't have been more accommodating and helpful and went out of their way on a number of occasions to assist us and other guests during our stay. The owners son also spoke with us at length about the history of the house, the town and Sri Lanka, he was very knowledgeable. Well located with restaurants close by and a lovely walk to Lovers Leap waterfall. Great value for money and a good breakfast to start the day. Definitely highly recommended

Situated in Nuwara Eliya, 4.6 km from Gregory Lake, Green Villa features accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. The host family is very friendly and will do their best to make you feel comfortable. Rooms are clean ( mine had a great view of the mountain), showers have hot water. The dinner they offered was cheap and one the best I've had in Sri Lanka.

Set just 3.8 km from Gregory Lake, Ruchi House provides accommodation in Nuwara Eliya with access to barbecue facilities, a shared lounge, as well as a 24-hour front desk. As a solo female traveler, staying here I felt so safe and at home. The owner and his wife are so utterly sweet and hardworking. The owner has a TukTuk and for a very fair price, he picked me up/dropped me off at the train station. On top of this, he offered different excursion options on his TukTuk for tea plantations, hikes, waterfalls, etc. The owner honestly went above and beyond, not only was he a wonderful host, but also a great driver and tour guide. What really touched my heart was when he took me to the Horton Plains National Park and ended up doing the WHOLE hike with me because he did not want me to do it alone and wanted to make sure I was safe. Their home is a very cute 100+-year-old house, with two rooms. The room was spotlessly clean and had comfy beds with warm blankets for the chilly nights. The price includes breakfast and if you have an early excursion/train time they pack you a full breakfast as well! They also offer lunch and dinner, which the wife cooks. It was honestly the best food I had on my trip to Sri Lanka especially the chicken curry and dhal curry.

Situated 7.8 km from Gregory Lake and 15 km from Hakgala Botanical Garden, Ansi Villa offers accommodation set in Nanu Oya. Friendly Host Volunteered to free pick up and drop to Nanu Oya station. Greeted with Cake and lovely Tea. Decent hot water shower. Late check in at 11.45pm and early checkout at 5.45am was handled with a smile 😊. Greatly appreciate it.

They went above and beyond to help me when my scooter broke down 25 mins drive away, coming to pick me up with a truck for the scooter and were hugely helpful with local arrangements, suggestions and with making sure I could do my online meeting. Delicious breakfast and sweet staff. Highly recommended!
