Meegahapokuna Resort offers accommodation set 4.4 km from the centre of Anuradhapura and features a garden and a terrace. The host and family were simply wonderful! We arrived around 830pm after a day long road trip, hungry and tired. Kanchana prepared a satisfying meal for the four of us at such short notice. Her husband also arranged tuk tuks for us to tour Anuradhapura. The location is rustic and quiet. A lovely escape from the hustle and bustle of urban life

Situated in Habarana, VISU VILLA hotel features accommodation with pool with a view, free WiFi and free private parking for guests who drive. Ruwan and his family and employees are fantastic hosts. They could not do enough for us and went out of their way in all respects. Ruwan organised tours to all the key sites in the Cultural Triangle ( Dambulla Cave temple, Polunnuwara, Ritigala, Sigiriya , Pidurangala and the Elephant Eco Park. He reaffirmed our decision to use Habarana as a base for 5 nights rather than move from place to place. He also arranged for a village tour/Spice Garden at no cost and drove us to and from Habarana Cultural Show which was fantastic. He provided Tuk tuk taxis as required by Antani, including transfer to Kandy. The Visu Villas are located just off the main road and we were able to walk in to Habarana for restaurants, supermarket and bank. We also ate at the onsite restaurant...some of the best authentic Sri Lankan food. For the incredible price we weren't expecting too much from the breakfast which was included. This turned out to be not the case. The food was vegetarian (requested) homemade, varied, delcious and amazing value for money. It was made at a time of your request or provided as a takeaway if required. The room was comfortable and clean. The air con and ceiling fan worked really well. The place had a swimming pool that other guests seemed to enjoy and two lovely tree houses for dining as well as more accessible areas. Ruwan even gave us a framed photo momento of our fantastic stay with his family. We would not hesitate to stay again.

Situated just 4 km from Anuradhapura Railway Station, Blooming Holiday Resort provides accommodation in Anuradhapura with access to an outdoor swimming pool, a garden, as well as full-day security. The property is very clean and very well maintained. I travelled with my mother and 7 year old daughter and stayed in the triple room. The room is large and very clean with free water bottles, tea and coffee provided with a kettle. The pool is very clean and well maintained. The lady who manages the place is very friendly and accomodating. The lady who is the cook and helper is incredibly lovely and helpful. The owner is also friendly and always cleaning and maintaining the property and the pool. We were so impressed by this family run accomodation. Our breakfast on both mornings were beyond amazing. So delicious and so much variety with local fish served as well. We loved everything about this property. Thank you 🙏

Situated within 12 km of Pidurangala Rock and 13 km of Sigiriya Rock in Habarana, Habarana Dulwan Guest House offers accommodation with seating area. We had the best time at Dulwan Guest House. Upali is just the most wonderful host and took care of us the whole time. He drove us in his tuktuk to Pidurangala and Polonnaruwa, he was super patient and waited for us while we visited and hiked different locations, and the price was great! He gave us a lot of recommendations to eat locally, and also cooked us the best gluten-free breakfast, includding wadde and hoppers which we absolutely loved. The bed was very comfy and the AC worked great, for the price you really could not ask for more. We could only stay one night but would have extended our stay if we could have just to explore the area with Upali! Thanks a lot for everything!!

Attractively situated in the centre of Anuradhapura, Sunhill Lake Tourist Rest features free WiFi, a garden and free private parking for guests who drive. We enjoyed our time at Sunhill Lake Tourist Rest. They are located right off of Kubichchankulama Lake with a walking path around the lake. The Hosts were very hospitable and gracious. The room was spacious and clean - good AC! They gave us access to a kettle in the kitchen for morning coffee.

10 km from Pidurangala Rock in Habarana, Priyavimana resort provides accommodation with access to a hot spring bath and spa facilities. Our stay was magnificent. The host picked us up from train station when we arrived late from Colombo. We easily discussed anything and he also rented us scooter and booked safari tour for us for reasonable price. The room was nice and breakfast just amazing. Definitely recommend for anyone.
