Meegahapokuna Resort offers accommodation set 4.4 km from the centre of Anuradhapura and features a garden and a terrace. ThilakaRatne & his wife Kanchana are really hardworking & amazing hosts. The property itself is amidst the Paddy fields on one side & the jungle to the other side, which makes an ideal place to stay if you love nature. Thilakaratne has his own farm & he lays all those fresh produces on your table everyday. The Food they served were all very delocious & they were also very reasonably priced. I also took the tuktuk services, where he himself drove me around the Anuradhapura city ruins,concluding in Mihintale. If you are in Anuradhapura, I definitely recommend this place

Situated in Habarana, VISU VILLA hotel features accommodation with pool with a view, free WiFi and free private parking for guests who drive. Ruwan and his family/team are great hosts. They organise all you need and more if you have issues (like us with incovenient cash notes, shuttle from the train station, etc.). Would always recommend staying in Visu Villa hotel if one is in the region of Habarana. The food is great as well and always fresh made. The tours are fantastic as well.

We stayed two nights at Nilu’s and Malsha’s homestay, and it was absolutely amazing. After three weeks of traveling in Sri Lanka, Anuradhapura was our final stop before heading back to Colombo, and both my partner and I agreed that these last two days were the highlight of our trip. Malsha was a fantastic host. She gave us excellent recommendations, prepared fresh and delicious breakfasts, and even did our laundry. We truly felt at home during our stay. The entire family is incredibly sweet and welcoming. They also arranged a guided tour of the ancient city with their friend Kamal, which turned out to be an unforgettable experience. Having done several guided tours during our trip, we can confidently say that this one was the best by far. The value for money here is unbeatable and the location was also exactly what we had in mind. The homestay is situated in a quiet residential area, which we loved, and it’s only a quick 5-minute tuk-tuk ride to the city center. Thank you, Nilu and especially thank you Malsha, for an incredible stay. We highly recommend this homestay to anyone visiting Anuradhapura!

Situated just 4 km from Anuradhapura Railway Station, Blooming Holiday Resort provides accommodation in Anuradhapura with access to an outdoor swimming pool, a garden, as well as full-day security. Big room, very nice beds, very friendly staff. They even cleaned our Tuktuk after heavy rain! Great breakfast too, 100% recommend.

Very good guest house, the owner is very friendly, and serves an exceptional breakfast. He helped us in the plan. The room was big and clean. Sigiriya's rock drop in his tuk tuk was great.

Attractively situated in the centre of Anuradhapura, Sunhill Lake Tourist Rest features free WiFi, a garden and free private parking for guests who drive. We enjoyed our time at Sunhill Lake Tourist Rest. They are located right off of Kubichchankulama Lake with a walking path around the lake. The Hosts were very hospitable and gracious. The room was spacious and clean - good AC! They gave us access to a kettle in the kitchen for morning coffee.

10 km from Pidurangala Rock in Habarana, Priyavimana resort provides accommodation with access to a hot spring bath and spa facilities. Our stay was magnificent. The host picked us up from train station when we arrived late from Colombo. We easily discussed anything and he also rented us scooter and booked safari tour for us for reasonable price. The room was nice and breakfast just amazing. Definitely recommend for anyone.
