Samlockhon Hanokstay is situated in Jeonju, 300 metres from Jeonju Hanok Village, 200 metres from Seunggwangjae, as well as 200 metres from Choi Myeong Hee Literature Museum. Its exactly as pretty as the picture. The owner really takes care of the building. Our villa is full of intricate construction details which no doubt is hard to keep clean, but i couldnt see any corner or joints that is dusty. Location is incredible, right in the heart of the Jeonju hanok village

Set 600 metres from Jeonju Hanok Village and 500 metres from Omokdae and Imokdae, Starlight Rest Area in Jeonju offers air-conditioned accommodation with views of the garden and free WiFi. Location was stellar - it's right within the Hanok Village and everything we wanted to see was within easy walking distance. There's plenty to explore, see, and eat within a few minutes of wandering. The bus stop to/from Jeonju Station is within a few minutes of walking as well. Our room was clean and comfortable. The courtyard is really cute, with a variety of flowers and plants that made me smile whenever entering or exiting. There's even a little "self corner" where you can make tea, coffee, or toast bread with jam that the host has available whenever. (There's a "Korean tea," as it was described during check in - it's a Solomon's seal tea that we liked so much, we made some every night and plan to buy.) The host and his wife are extremely friendly! Upon check-in, we were sat down with a map and shown where we were staying, along with an introduction to the key areas to visit or eat at, as well as rough distance. In the morning, I was sketching in the courtyard while waiting for my friend to wake up and they started chatting with me. All the wood signs were made by the host himself! Every room has a beautiful handmade wood carving by him.

The hosts are amazing people, super nice and very helpful. The hotel is very traditional as we wanted it to be, we had a great experience sleeping on a futon. It was very calm and quiet. Location is really great, in the center of the village, you can walk everywhere very easily. We highly recommend this place if you want a typical traditional Korean experience.

The property was clean and well located. The host, Mr Choi, was truly wonderful - he told us about all the cool spots nearby, dropped us to the bus station in the morning after checkout and even also helped track down our bag which we left on our bus. Highly recommend staying here!

Offering a garden and garden view, Sungsim Hanok Guesthouse is set in Jeonju, 400 metres from Jeonju Hanok Village and 100 metres from Donghak Peasant Revolution Memorial Hall. The property is located in Hanok Village, where everything is within walking distance. The room is a bit small, but clean and cozy. It is equipped with everything it needs and there is also underfloor heating. The owner was very nice and friendly. Upon arrival he offered snacks and mandarin green tea. Breakfast was also served every morning (coffee, juice, toast, jam and fruits). On the day of my departure, I took the bus to Seoul very early in the morning so the owner gave me a package with lots of snacks for breakfast. I couldn't thank him enough and would definitely come back on my next trip.
