Chef Young cooked amazing meals, catered to us individually. We were treated like family, not just guests. The grounds are lovely. Had beautiful breakfasts outside. Truly a special stay! Offering a garden and garden view, Monrovia Guest House is set in Nakuru, 5.6 km from Lake Nakuru National Park and 20 km from Egerton Castle. We have been very well welcomed and upgraded to the executive suite, which was much appreciated. The place is nice and the service very good. Our breakfast has been served in our room and was in very good quantity and healthy. Moreover, the restaurant facing the place offers good music and food which is perfect for a good overall experience. We will be back!

The room is clean and has everything we needed. The lady is lovely and very helpful. It’s a little bit outside the town but there are matatus to Naivasha for 40KSH. Small shops and a supermarket (15-20min walking) are nearby. We went to Hells Gate Nationalpark with using Matatus (40KSH to town and 150KSH to Elsas Gate), but she can also help you to arrange private transport if you wish so. We had a great time and extended our stay :)
