The shared bathroom was super clean as well, with all amenities. The shared space was so cosy, with a great view of the mountains, the space truly showed the passion of the owners. The coffee (extra charge) was good, and the food looked delicious. They allow you to eat your own food in the common space, that has a few kitchen appliances. They have a car/bike parking right next to the house. It was truly perfect, cannot recommend this place enough!

It is just across the road from a pleasant onsen which accepts day trippers. It means you can add a bit of luxury to your guest house stay. Bicycle rental and luggage storage is at the nearest station. They know Ulala and they were very flexible about extending the standard period to suit my plan.

The dormitory was nice and the guest house in general was very well kept and overlooked a field. A calm retreat. Best of all was the host, however, who was very kind and helpful - even drove me to the doctor nearby. There's a cafe as well to have easy access to good food. A konbini is a short walk way, too.

The food was amazing, we got to eat fresh local produce including wild boar, fish and sea weed, probably the most enjoyable meal we had in Japan from an unexpected location. Not flashy but clean and comfortable accomodation.
