Ulala is an adorable guesthouse, and I recommend it a lot. The place is clean, the room is comfortable and you feel very safe. It is offered free slippers, free towels, and the bathroom is equipped with high-quality shampoo, hair mask, cleansing oil and hairdryer. Also, the owner is welcoming and makes you feel like home. She offered me a car ride in two instances, and helped me take my luggage to the bus station. Thank you very much, I really appreciate it. it is located two minutes away from a Buddhist temple (Tokoji), which is worth visiting. Hagi is a beautiful, small coastal city with many interesting historical places, and the kindest people I met throughout my trip in Japan. You can do everything basically by walking but there’s also a cheap and nice bus system transportation that takes you to the main places faster.

The host was cheerful and very easy to talk to and went above and beyond to make my stay amazing. She had some recommendations when I talked to her about my plans in the area which all turned out great when I tried them. Communication was pretty easy and uncomplicated. I would love to return and spend more time here if I have the chance.

Its a great little historic town off the usual tourist track. Rabbit is an amazing host. She met us at the station, gave us a quick tour of town, made dinner reservations for us and then settled us in to the guest house. It is a house, not just a room, and is well equipped and comfortable. Well located for seeing the town. Highly recommended.

Host Keiko-san is not only super efficient but also incredibly warm and kind, making sure we are safe and helping with where we need to go/do. We felt more like visiting a friend than staying at a guesthouse. The house was also beautiful, tastefully furnished and super clean. Thanks again, Keiko-san!
